Oceanfront Rooms

Rooms at this resort overlook the ocean, great room service and cleanliness. There are different views and sized depending on your needs, but they all come amazing comfort and service. Some views will give you a true view of the pools and ocean while ours gave us a view of the ocean and shows every night. This way we were able to watch Luaus every night and didn't even have to leave our room!

Located Right on the Ocean

A huge perk of this hotel is not only does it have great restaurants, pools, food, services and more, but it is located right on a private beach. You can walk to it from your room and they will bring you chairs and towels for personal use for as long as you want. There is no need to drive or try to find a beach because you are right on one when you wake up.

Pools

This resort has a number of pools all interconnected. They range from adult pools to a rope swing to countless waterslides, to a scuba diving training area, volleyball court, kiddie pools and more.

Food and drinks are available for purchase around and in the pool. There are also provided towels, sunscreen and aloe gel if you get burnt. Workers are always around as well taking orders and getting you what you need.

A bird's eye view of the hotel pools is pictured below.

Close restaurants and shops

This resort is also conveniently located by shops and restaurants within walking distance so you never have to worry about not having what you need. There are stores from the ABC store to Gucci so every need of yours will be met!

Tours pick up right at the resort

Tours from snorkeling to sunset tours to hiking and sunrise are all available for pick up and convenient booking from the hotel. We used the snorkeling tour. They took us to two places on the island for great snorkeling. The boat provided food and drinks and snorkeling gear. They provided everything we needed and more as well as picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel so it was very convenient.

Bikes for use

One of my favorite things about this hotel is that it gave access to bikes that you could use to ride around the island. We were able to explore nearby beaches such as Makena Beach, Big Beach little Beach neighborhoods and houses and more. It gave us a little more freedom to explore and we were able to see surrounding areas in a different perspective than staying at a touristy resort. All you had to do it make sure you were up in time and bikes were available - ask the desk for use - sign a waver and off you go. They even provided locks. I would highly recommend exploring different parts of the Island (Lahina, Kihea, and Napili are my favorites)

Golfing

There is a golf club right across the street from the resort. Here it has three golf courses to choose from. It is open to the public but there are discounted rates for being a resident of the Grand Wilea and other surrounding resorts.
